Institute for Learning in Retirement Fall 2010 Offerings

Jul 26, 2010

Elizabethtown College's Institute for Learning in Retirement is pleased to release the fall 2010 schedule of classes.  The college has been offering courses, programs, and educational trips for the retirement community as a community service since 1990. All persons of retirement age are welcome to participate.  The classes are for people who want to enrich their minds and have some fun. There are no homework assignments and no one receives a grade.

This fall we will be offering classes at four locations: Elizabethtown College in Elizabethtown, Masonic Village in Elizabethtown, Winters Heritage House Museum in Elizabethtown and Pleasant View Retirement Community in Manheim. We are especially excited about all the course offerings for this fall! There really is something for everyone: history classes covering the colonial period through WWII, writing workshops, religion classes like Biblical Hebrew and Islam and several literature and book clubs.

This is an excellent program and I would like to see everyone take advantage of these opportunities. Please feel free to contact me at 717-361-1288 or rothrockcm@etown.edu.
