Is There Life on Other Planets?

Is There Life on Other Planets?

Get the scoop on interplanetary activity when you take the course Investigations in Astronomy.  There are more than stars out there, and this course will have you exploring outer space in your bunny slippers!

How and when did the cosmos come about?  How far have we come since Edwin Hubble opened up the skies for us?

You can take this course without a telescope!  You will learn to recognize celestial bodies and events observable from the Earth.  See how astronomic theories help to explain the origins of the universe.  And finally, learn where you are in the universe.

Contact your advisor if you are interested in this course.  It is a four-credit course and will fulfill a Natural World or General Elective requirement.  Investigations in Astronomy will be offered online in the first fall session beginning August 13.
