Harrisburg Driving Directions

From Philadelphia and points east of Harrisburg:

  1. Pennsylvania Turnpike to exit 247, Harrisburg East
  2. 283 north to 83 north
  3. 83 north to 81 south
  4. 81 south to Front Street South exit
  5. Proceed south on Front Street along the Susquehanna River for approximately 1 mile. Turn left on Edward Street. (The sign for Edward Street is on the right. Wachovia Bank is on the left at Edward Street.) Turn right onto Second Street. Proceed south on Second Street for two blocks.

From New York, Allentown, and points northeast of Harrisburg:

  1. 78 south to 81 south
  2. 81 south to Front Street South exit
  3. Proceed south on Front Street along the Susquehanna River for approximately 1 mile. Turn left on Edward Street. (The sign for Edward Street is on the right. Wachovia Bank is on the left at Edward Street.) Turn right onto Second Street. Proceed south on Second Street for two blocks.

From Baltimore, York and points south of Harrisburg:

  1. 83 north to 81 south
  2. 81 south to Front Street South exit
  3. Proceed south on Front Street along the Susquehanna River for approximately 1 mile. Turn left on Edward Street. (The sign for Edward Street is on the right. Wachovia Bank is on the left at Edward Street.) Turn right onto Second Street. Proceed south on Second Street for two blocks.

From Carlisle and points west of Harrisburg:

  1. Pennsylvania Turnpike to exit 226, Carlisle
  2. 81 north to Front Street South exit
  3. Proceed south on Front Street along the Susquehanna River for approximately 1 mile. Turn left on Edward Street. (The sign for Edward Street is on the right. Wachovia Bank is on the left at Edward Street.) Turn right onto Second Street. Proceed south on Second Street for two blocks.

From State College and points north and west of Harrisburg:

  1. 22/322 south to Linglestown Road
  2. Linglestown Road west (turn right) to Front Street
or
  1. 11/15 south to 81 north
  2. 81 north to Front Street South exit
  3. Proceed south on Front Street along the Susquehanna River for approximately 1 mile. Turn left on Edward Street. (The sign for Edward Street is on the right. Wachovia Bank is on the left at Edward Street.) Turn right onto Second Street. Proceed south on Second Street for two blocks.

From the east:

  1. US-222 S to US-30 W / US-222 S toward LANCASTER / YORK.
  2. Take the PA-272 / OREGON PIKE exit.
  3. Stay STRAIGHT to go onto YORK RD.
  4. Turn LEFT onto FRUITVILLE PIKE.
  5. Turn RIGHT onto DILLERVILLE RD.
  6. Turn SHARP LEFT onto HARRISBURG PIKE.
  7. Make a left at next traffic light. Turn right into parking lot.
  8. Our offices are on the second floor of College Square.

From the west:

  1. 283 S to MANHEIM PIKE / PA-72 S toward LANCASTER.
  2. Turn RIGHT onto DILLERVILLE RD.
  3. Turn SHARP LEFT onto HARRISBURG PIKE.
  4. Make a left at next traffic light. Turn right into parking lot.
  5. Our offices are on the second floor of College Square.

From the north:

  1. 72 South to Turn RIGHT onto DILLERVILLE RD.
  2. Turn SHARP LEFT onto HARRISBURG PIKE.
  3. Make a left at next traffic light. Turn right into parking lot.
  4. Our offices are on the second floor of College Square.

From the south:

  1. Take US-30 W.Take Rt. 15 North and follow about 5 miles
  2. Take the PA-23 W exit toward WALNUT ST.
  3. Turn RIGHT onto PA-23 W.
  4. Turn RIGHT onto N QUEEN ST / PA-72 N.
  5. Turn LEFT onto W JAMES ST.
  6. Turn SLIGHT RIGHT onto HARRISBURG PIKE.
  7. Our offices are on the second floor of College Square.

Elizabethtown Driving Directions

From Baltimore, Maryland and Washington, D.C.:

  1. Go north on I-83 to the Pennsylvania Turnpike East.
  2. Exit at Interchange 247 to State Route 283 East. Be careful to use the far right tollbooth, as the exit for 283 East is immediately after the toll plaza.
  3. Follow 283 East to the Elizabethtown/Hershey exit and turn right at the end of the ramp onto Route 743 South.

From Delaware:
  1. Take Route 41 North to Route 30 West at Gap.
  2. Continue using our directions from Route 30.
-or-
  1. Take Route 896 North to Route 30.

From Eastern New York, Eastern Pennsylvania, North/Central New Jersey and New England:

  1. Take the New Jersey Turnpike to the Pennsylvania Turnpike to Interchange 21.
  2. Travel south on Route 222 to Route 30 West. Then follow the directions from Route 30.
-or-
  1. Travel west on I-78 to I-81 South.
  2. Take left off Hershey/Grantville Exit 80 and proceed south on Route 743.
  3. Carefully follow signs for Route 743 through Hershey.
  4. From there, follow our directions from Route 743 South.

From Western Pennsylvania:

  1. Travel east on the Pennsylvania Turnpike to Exit 247, Route 283 East. Be careful to use the far right tollbooth, as the exit for 283 East is immediately after the toll plaza.
  2. Follow 283 East to the Elizabethtown/Hershey exit and turn right at the end of the ramp onto Route 743 South.

From Upstate New York:

  1. Take I-81 South to Exit 80.
  2. Take left off exit and proceed south on Route 743. Carefully follow signs for Route 743 through Hershey.
  3. Then follow our directions from Route 743 South.

From Southern New Jersey:

  1. Take Garden State Parkway North to Route 40 West to Delaware Memorial Bridge.
  2. Travel south on Route 95 for one exit to 141 North/West.
  3. Take 41 North to Route 30 West. Then follow our directions from Route 30.
-or-
  1. Take Walt Whitman Bridge to 76 West (Schuylkill Expressway) to Pennsylvania Turnpike West to Interchange 286.
  2. Travel south on Route 222 to Route 30 West. From there, follow our directions from Route 30.

From Route 30:

  1. Travel west on Route 30 to Route 283.
  2. Travel west on Route 283 to Elizabethtown/Rheems exit. Turn left at end of exit ramp onto Cloverleaf Road and proceed one mile to Route 230.
  3. Turn right and travel west to Elizabethtown.
  4. Turn right at College Avenue. Proceed through two stop signs. Pass Alpha Drive on the right.  The Hoover Building is the 3rd building on the right past Alpha Drive.  There is a parking lot in front of the building.  The entrance to the Edward R. Murphy Center for Continuing Education and Distance Learning is on the right side of the Hoover building.
If you'd like to take a drive through the town of Elizabethtown, may we recommend that you take the second exit for E-town (Elizabethtown/Hershey exit). Turn left at the end of ramp onto Route 743 South.

From Route 743:

  1. Travel south on Route 743 to Elizabethtown.
  2. Turn left on Market Street (Route 230).
  3. Travel east through three traffic lights until you reach College Avenue.
  4. Turn left onto College Avenue. Proceed through two stop signs. Pass Alpha Drive on the right.  The Hoover Building is the 3rd building on the right past Alpha Drive.  There is a parking lot in front of the building.  The entrance to the Edward R. Murphy Center for Continuing Education and Distance Learning is on the right side of the Hoover building.

  1. 30 East toward Lancaster
  2. Merge onto 83 South toward Baltimore
  3. Merge onto PA-74 South/S. Queen St. via Exit 16A
  4. Turn Right at first light onto St. Charles Way
  5. Elizabethtown College is located on the left hand side across from Ruby Tuesday’s
  6. We are located on the Second Floor above the  Credit Union, Suite 250

From Harrisburg and points North

  1. 83 South toward York

  2. Take the PA-182 exit, Exit 14, toward Leader Heights
  3. Take the PA-182 East ramp toward Dallastown
  4. Turn Slight Right onto PA-182/Leader Heights Rd.
  5. Turn Left onto Powder Mill Rd.
  6. Stay straight to go onto St. Charles Way
  7. Elizabethtown College is located on the right hand side across from Ruby Tuesday’s
